Seeking Wisdom for Sabbathkeepers in Challenging Times
“Be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” (Matthew 10:16) When local customs do not conflict with God’s law, we may adapt to them. Sunday presents the best opportunity for outreach. Use it to teach God’s love and share Scripture clearly. Sunday-keeping is not yet the true test. Soon, there may be pressure to work on the Sabbath or enforce Sunday observance. Until then, focus on preaching Christ crucified and on the eternal nature of God’s law. Teach the Sabbath firmly, but handle the topic of Sunday with care. Remember, refraining from Sunday work is not receiving the mark of the beast. When persecution comes, stand firm in truth. If the opposition grows, heed Christ’s words: “When they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another.” Prayer: Our Father in heaven, thank You for Your guiding truth. Grant us wisdom for these last days. Provide our needs by Your riches in glory. Keep us in good health to testify of Your goodness. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and soon-coming King, Amen. Friends, please share your testimonies and prayer requests. Our team will lift them in supplication.
