Tolu Arokodare Poised for Loan Move to Trabzonspor

Tolu Arokodare Poised for Loan Move to Trabzonspor

Tolu Arokodare is on the brink of joining Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers as both clubs finalise terms. Wolves are insisting that Trabzonspor cover the striker’s full €3.7 million annual salary. The Turkish club stepped up their search for a centre-forward after Felipe Augusto’s departure, and they also face uncertainty over Paul Onuachu’s future amid reported interest from Saudi Arabia. Arokodare, 25, is expected in Turkey on Monday to complete the transfer formalities. He made 33 league appearances for Wolves last season, scoring three goals and providing one assist after his move from Genk.

Do you think Tolu's playing style will suit Trabzonspor's attack and help him secure regular starts in the Super Lig?

Totally! His dynamic style seems a great fit for their frontline, so he'll likely start often.

Interesting that Wolves insist on Trabzonspor covering his full €3.7m salary before approving the loan move.

I'm not sure a loan to Turkey guarantees more playing time, sometimes those agreements only benefit the parent club financially.

It'd help to include a midseason recall clause, so Wolves can bring him back if he struggles for minutes in Trabzonspor.
