Lionel Messi has reportedly commissioned a customised 28-metre Sunreef ULTIMA 88 power catamaran valued at about $10.4 million. The yacht is being built in the United Arab Emirates and is expected to join his MIM Ocean charter fleet in Spain’s Balearic Islands. The vessel is designed for private family trips and commercial charter operations. It is expected to include twin 1,000-horsepower engines, a master suite, four guest cabins, a Jet Ski garage and direct water access for swimming. The purchase adds to Messi’s investments beyond football, which reportedly include interests in Spanish clubs and a possible future stake in Inter Miami. The yacht is intended to combine leisure use with a revenue-generating charter business.
