Osimhen’s Galatasaray Remain Turkish Title Favourites Despite Salah and Onuachu Threat

Victor Osimhen’s Galatasaray are early favourites to retain the Turkish Süper Lig title for the 2026/27 season, despite major transfer activity from their rivals. Trabzonspor have strengthened by signing Mohamed Salah and are reportedly close to adding Darwin Núñez to an attack already led by Nigeria’s Paul Onuachu. Onuachu finished the 2025/26 league season as joint-top scorer with 22 goals and also helped Trabzonspor win the Turkish Cup. Fenerbahçe have added Mason Greenwood and Romelu Lukaku, but bookmakers still rate Galatasaray ahead of the competition. Osimhen’s 59 goals in 74 games, along with Galatasaray’s squad depth, give the champions a strong platform to defend their crown.
