Ex-NANS President Withdraws to Rally Behind ‘Wiper’ in Oyi/Ayamelum NDC Primary

Mr Chuks Okafor, former NANS President, has withdrawn from the NDC primary race in Oyi/Ayamelum to support Uchenna Okafor, popularly known as ‘Wiper’. He says this decision follows extensive consultations with stakeholders and party associates. Okafor collapsed his campaign structure in the spirit of unity and pledged his full backing for Wiper. He urged his supporters to rally behind their candidate and strengthen the party’s chances ahead of Saturday’s primary. Uchenna Okafor is a former Local Government Chairman, Commissioner for Transportation, Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, and Special Adviser on Internally Generated Revenue in Anambra State. He now heads the consolidated support base in the NDC contest.
