A Prayer for Strength in a Difficult Work Situation

Lord, thank You for being my Father and for the job You have provided. When work becomes difficult and discouragement rises, help me remember that You have overcome the world. I bring my work situation before You. I am grateful for this job, but I feel unable to use the training and talents You have given me. Please open the right door for me to pursue the career You have prepared me for. If Your will is for me to remain where I am, give me the grace to endure and serve with faith. Keep my eyes on Jesus and use me for Your glory wherever I find myself. Amen.
