Barcelona president Joan Laporta has dismissed speculation over Raphinha’s future following the club’s busy transfer window. He insisted the Brazil winger remains a key part of the team despite new signings. The Catalan side signed England international Anthony Gordon for €70 million plus €10 million in add-ons. Karim Adeyemi and 18-year-old Jesse Bisiwu are also set to join, but Laporta stressed these moves are not linked to Raphinha’s position. “Raphinha is essential for us,” Laporta said, denying any plan to sell the Brazilian star amid reported interest from Saudi clubs.
