UNIOFFA Honours Al-Hikmah Founder Ahead of Maiden Convocation
The University of Offa, Kwara State, has announced plans to confer a Distinguished Personality Award on Alhaji AbdulRaheem Amoo Oladimeji, founder of Al-Hikmah University, during its maiden convocation. UNIOFFA’s management, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kazeem Alagbe Gbolagade, visited Oladimeji to brief him on the convocation programme, scheduled for October 7 to 12, 2026. The week-long programme will include student counselling and job training, an exhibition, sports activities, prayers, a fundraising launch for the university’s ₦1 billion development plan, and an award dinner. The final ceremony on October 12 will also feature the investiture of the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Muhammad Gbadamosi Oloyede Okikiola Esuwoye II, as Chancellor.
