Kwara Poly Expels 42 Students Over Examination Malpractice
Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, has expelled 42 students after its Examination Malpractice Committee found them guilty of examination offences. The affected students include 31 Higher National Diploma students and 11 National Diploma students from several departments. The Institute of Finance and Management Studies recorded the highest number of expulsions, with 23 students affected. Other affected institutes include Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Continuing Education, Health Technology and General Studies. The Polytechnic said the action followed due investigation and was approved under its Students’ Handbook. The expelled students have also been directed to return any Polytechnic property in their possession to the appropriate authorities.
