I Resigned for a TESCOM Job but Have No Resumption Date — What Should I Do?

I resigned from my factory job in August because I expected to resume with Lagos State TESCOM in September, based on what happened with last year’s recruits. However, we were only invited for documentation late last month, and we still have no resumption date. I have been broke and frustrated since then. I am hesitant to take another job or teach in a private school because many schools expect teachers to stay until the end of the term, while TESCOM could call us at any time. I have also searched for daily-pay jobs, including event-waiting work, just to survive, but nothing has come through recently. Please advise me on the best step to take while I wait.
