Enugu Opens Recruitment for 6,580 Smart Green School Positions, Deadline Aug. 14

Enugu State has opened recruitment for 6,580 academic, technical and administrative positions in public primary and junior secondary schools, including the state’s 267 Smart Green Schools. Vacancies include 4,698 core-subject teachers, 520 digital librarians, 380 experiential learning innovators, 267 guidance counsellors, 267 ICT staff, 267 laboratory attendants, 136 account officers and 45 technicians. Applicants for teaching roles must hold a B.Ed, relevant degree or HND with a PGDE, or an NCE in the required subject area. TRCN registration or evidence of ongoing registration is required. Degree and HND applicants must also have an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate, while ICT proficiency is required across all roles. Applications, including credentials and a CV, may be submitted physically to ENSUBEB in Enugu or electronically as a single PDF through the board’s official channel. The deadline is Friday, August 14, 2026.
