Abia Comets have confirmed their return to the Nigeria National League after taking over the league slot of Right2Win FC, Umuahia. Right2Win FC won promotion during the NLO playoffs in Aba before agreeing to transfer their NNL place. Abia Comets chairman Boniface Uche said the club are already preparing for the new campaign in Uyo, where they are competing in a pre-season tournament. Right2Win proprietor Emeka Nnorom also indicated that a formal announcement on the arrangement would be made soon.
