MTN Board Fees 2025: Sanusi Lamido Sanusi Earns N474 Million
Boardroom pay at MTN reached new heights in 2025. Nigeria’s Sanusi Lamido Sanusi topped local earnings with about N474 million in non-executive fees. Globally, he ranked fourth after South Africa’s Mcebisi Hubert Jonas (R9.61m), Terence Pennington (R6.34m) and Kenya’s Victor Rague (R5.56m). The rand-to-naira conversion used a rate of R1 = N87.12 as at December 31, 2025. Sanusi’s R5.44 million translated into N474 million, making him the highest-paid Nigerian director on MTN’s board.
