Hojlund Says Man United Players ‘All Suffered’ During Amorim’s Early Reign

Rasmus Hojlund says Manchester United’s players struggled to adapt after Ruben Amorim replaced Erik ten Hag. The Danish striker said injuries and the switch to a different tactical style made the period difficult for the entire squad. Hojlund scored eight goals in 40 appearances under Amorim before leaving United for Napoli following a major squad rebuild. He said winning the Europa League final against Tottenham could have changed perceptions of his time at Old Trafford. Amorim is now in charge of AC Milan, where Samuel Chukwueze is hoping to rebuild his form after an unsuccessful loan spell at Fulham. The Nigerian winger has made an encouraging start under the Portuguese coach.
