Adeyanju Demands FG Arrest Sheikh Gumi Over Alleged Terrorist Sympathies

Deji Adeyanju has urged the federal government to detain Islamic cleric Ahmad Gumi. He claims Gumi’s remarks defending bandit activities amount to promoting terrorism. The call follows a viral video in which Gumi said Fulani herdsmen “are part of us and we are part of them” and insisted Nigerians must coexist with them. Critics argue these words support criminal groups. Speaking on Facebook, Adeyanju labeled any terrorist sympathizer a terrorist. He warned that such voices flourish in a failed state and urged authorities to act swiftly to deter others.
