Iheanacho equalised from the penalty spot on the hour mark before scoring the winner in the 85th minute. The brace took the Nigerian forward to 11 goals for the season and extended his scoring run to eight consecutive matches. His strong form earned him a Super Eagles recall ahead of Nigeria's October 6 friendly against Russia.
