Today’s devotional reflects on Joshua 1:1–9 and God’s call of Joshua to lead Israel after Moses’ death. Though Joshua had served Moses, God elevated him suddenly into a position of great responsibility. The message teaches that extraordinary promotion comes from God and should be received with humility.
