Osun Police Declare Five Wanted Over Political Violence

The Osun State Police Command has declared five people wanted over violent incidents linked to the state’s ongoing political crisis. The suspects are Dauda Olamilekan, known as Emir; Taoreed, known as Small Rugged; Adetunji Kamoru Olatunde; Saka Afees, known as Terror; and Adeyemi Saheed. Police said the suspects are being sought in connection with incidents that led to deaths and property destruction in several parts of the state. Residents with useful information have been urged to report to the nearest police station. Political tension has persisted in Osun since June, with fatal incidents reported in Ilobu, Osogbo, Esa-Oke and Ikire. The command said it will continue efforts to restore peace and bring those responsible to justice.
