Why I Can’t Stand a Closed Mind: The Pitfalls of Low Curiosity

I define low IQ not by grades, but by a closed mind and lack of curiosity. These people struggle to learn new things, dismiss opposing views without thought, and fail to question dogma before accepting it. They argue without facts and rely on emotions. They focus on immediate success, worship money and celebrities, and neglect long-term consequences. The worst combine ignorance with religious dogmatism. They celebrate anyone who seems to win now, without seeing the ripple effects of fraud or corruption. I despise this mindset because it thrives on short-term gain and blinds people to future consequences.

Totally get it! Been there when ideas get shot down immediately, it's such a vibe killer.

It seems easy to label low curiosity as ignorance, but aren't emotions and quick assumptions sometimes protective instincts?

I get the frustration, but isn't calling them 'low IQ' for being closed-minded a bit harsh on people who prefer tradition?

Try engaging in respectful debates by asking clarifying questions and focusing on evidence instead of labels when encountering closed-minded arguments.
