1 / 2

The Peoples Democratic Party has appointed two independent appeal panels to review petitions from its recent presidential, governorship, state and National Assembly primaries. The State and National Assembly panel, led by Barr. Suleiman Afolagbe, will sit on June 8–9 at the NWC Hall, Wadata Plaza, Abuja. The Presidential and Governorship panel, chaired by Hon. Abdulrahman Mohammed, will convene on June 10 at the same venue. These panels aim to uphold transparency and fairness in the party’s candidate selection, with recommendations made according to party guidelines and relevant laws.

Claiming these panels are independent rings hollow if senior leaders still call all the shots behind the scenes.

Ensure all petition documents are organized, then attend the June 8–9 panel session at the NWC to secure proper review.
