Nigeria Teen Defender Ikenna Ude-Chukwu Joins FC Midtjylland
Nineteen-year-old Nigerian defender Ikenna Prosper Ude-Chukwu has completed a transfer from FC Ebedei to Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland. He will start with the club’s under-19 team as he adapts to his new environment. Ude-Chukwu described the move as a major milestone for both himself and his family. He praised the welcome he’s received at the Danish club and highlighted differences in food, pitches and weather compared to Nigeria. Looking ahead, he aims to improve daily, break into the first team and eventually play in the Champions League with FC Midtjylland. The head of FCM Nigeria, Jonas Dal, commended Ude-Chukwu’s speed, defensive strength and game reading. He expects the youngster to fit well into the club’s high-press system and contribute to a strong back line.
