Tolu Arokodare looks set to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer after falling out of favour under manager César Peixoto. Eredivisie giants Ajax are tracking the 25-year-old Nigerian international. They view his 1.97m frame, aerial ability and hold-up play as the perfect tactical fit for domestic and European competitions. Signed for €26 million from Genk in 2025 after topping Belgium’s scoring charts, Arokodare has been exiled from Wolves’ first-team amid relegation and training ground disputes. While Genoa and Trabzonspor have also expressed interest, Ajax hope the promise of regular European football will clinch the transfer.
