Trabzonspor Demand €40m for Nigerian Defender Chibuike Nwaiwu

Turkish side Trabzonspor insist on a €40 million fee for centre-back Chibuike Nwaiwu. The 22-year-old has attracted interest from top European clubs, including Bayer Leverkusen and Fulham. Several teams reportedly offered around €20 million, but the Black Sea Storm are holding out for double that sum. They believe Nwaiwu’s value will rise thanks to his strong performances and potential. Nwaiwu joined Trabzonspor from Austrian side Wolfsberger AC in January and has already scored three goals with one assist in 16 league appearances.
