The Enugu State Government has donated 400 desktop computers to the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) to support digital learning, research and practical training. ESUT said 200 computers will go to its College of Medicine, while the remaining units will be installed at the university’s 500-capacity ICT Centre in Ebeano City. The centre is expected to open ahead of the 2026/2027 academic session and may host computer-based examinations, including JAMB, NECO and JUPEB assessments. The university said the equipment will support curriculum reforms that include practical training in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Data Science. The College of Medicine also plans to use part of the donation to strengthen its e-library and administrative services.
