COOUTH Paediatrics Department Undergoes NPMCN Accreditation for Postgraduate Training
The Department of Paediatrics at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Amaku-Awka, has undergone an accreditation exercise by the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria’s Faculty of Paediatrics. The assessment followed an earlier mock accreditation organised by the hospital management. The visiting team was led by Professor Felix Olukayode, a specialist in Paediatrics and Child Health. COOUTH management said the process reflects its effort to strengthen postgraduate medical training, improve healthcare standards and advance the hospital’s goal of becoming a world-class teaching institution.
