Ibrahim Mbaya, a model and chef popularly known as Ibee, has died after he was allegedly assaulted over an accusation that he stole an iPhone in Jos, Plateau State. The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday, July 26, 2026, in the Ring Road area of Jos North Local Government Area. Mbaya, who was also a contestant in Mr. and Miss Glam Nigeria 2026, reportedly denied the allegation. Rather than being handed over to the authorities, he was allegedly attacked with weapons. He was taken to a hospital in Jos, where he later died from his injuries.
