Real Madrid Secure Tchouaméni Until 2031, Manchester United Abandon Chase

Real Madrid have agreed a contract extension with Aurélien Tchouaméni that keeps him at the club until June 2031. This move formally ends Manchester United’s efforts to sign the France midfielder. United balked at meeting Real’s €100 million valuation and Tchouaméni’s wage demands. The 26-year-old has anchored Madrid’s midfield and helped them win the Champions League, La Liga and multiple other trophies. With that target gone, Manchester United have switched focus to Chelsea’s 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos, agreeing a deal reportedly worth an initial £48 million plus add-ons and a 10% sell-on clause.
