Why Are Many Nigerian Women Turning to Prostitution?
I’ve noticed that a growing number of Nigerian women now call themselves “runs girls,” “olosho,” or “mula” to appear more glamorous. Genuine wifey material seems almost impossible to find. In my experience, single women charge between ₦20,000 and ₦80,000, while married women ask for ₦150,000 to ₦200,000. Even light-skinned women often demand at least ₦300,000. It feels like any affectionate gesture is billed. I’m wondering how President Tinubu or society can help discourage this trend. Last month alone, I spent nearly ₦2 million on six different women without finding a serious partner. What can we do to support Nigerian women in choosing more stable paths?
