Heavenly Father, forgive us for allowing our love for You and for one another to grow cold. Help us to turn away from criticism, division and slander within the Body of Christ. Revive Your Church, Lord. Let the love seen among the early believers be renewed in our thoughts, words and actions, so that we may become salt and light to a needy world. Rekindle our love for You and the Lord Jesus. Grant us unity in the essentials of faith, liberty in non-essential matters, and genuine godly love in every part of our Christian lives. In Jesus’ name, amen.
