Woman Recovers ₦1.64 Million Sent in Error to Streams of Joy Account After Viral Appeal
Sandra Okpara has recovered ₦1.64 million she mistakenly transferred to an account linked to Streams of Joy International, founded by Pastor Jerry Eze. Okpara said the money, which was meant for other payments, was sent to the wrong Zenith Bank account after she had earlier made a ₦1,000 offering. She said her attempts to recover the funds through the banks initially proved unsuccessful. After her video appeal gained attention online, the church contacted her, investigated the transaction and returned the full amount. Okpara confirmed that she received the refund and said her post was not intended to damage the church or Pastor Jerry Eze’s reputation.
