It seeks peace without repentance, spirituality without Christ, and wisdom without the Spirit of God. Spirit enlightenment is different. It crucifies the self and leads us to worship the Creator. True light comes from revelation of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. It exposes pride, clarifies purpose, and makes the heart alive to divine truth. World enlightenment exalts human wisdom and seeks hidden knowledge to elevate the ego. Spirit enlightenment exalts Christ and destroys the ego so His life can be revealed. Discernment is critical: not every light illuminates the spirit. Without Jesus Christ, enlightenment becomes another tower of Babel. But the Spirit’s illumination humbles us, transforms us, and aligns us with the kingdom of God Almighty.
