GOSEF Scholarship 2026 Opens for Public University Students With 4.50 CGPA

Applications are open for the 2026 Gamaliel & Susan Onosode Scholarship Education Fund (GOSEF) Scholarship. The scheme supports high-performing Nigerian students in public tertiary institutions who need financial help to complete their studies. Applicants must be aged 16 to 25 and have a minimum CGPA of 4.50 on a 5.0 scale. Eligible students should also meet the foundation’s other application requirements. Selected beneficiaries will receive support for tuition and approved educational expenses. The scholarship may be renewed throughout a beneficiary’s programme, provided the required academic standard is maintained. Interested students should prepare their academic records, confirm their eligibility and apply before the 14 August 2026 deadline.

The support is welcome, but a 4.50 CGPA cutoff may leave out many students with real financial need who are still doing well academically.

Interested applicants should read the age, institution, academic, and financial-need requirements carefully before preparing their application materials.
