Colorism as a Mental Illness: Haplogroups, White Witchcraft and Reality TV
I compare the paternal haplogroups of African American and Creole men to show how ancestry shapes identity. African American men often carry E1b1a from Sub-Saharan Africa and R1b from European masters. Creole men trace J2 and G2a back to French settlers, with some R1b/U5 mixed in. I believe colorism is a mental illness—a spiritual plague cast by white-supremacist warlocks to keep us bound. Mulattos who claim a separate race and light-skinned men who chase approval suffer this same affliction. To me, every shade oppressed by this mindset bears the mark of demonic possession. On shows like Brown Paper Bag Island, darker contestants are still thrown off balance within seconds. Seeing black men rejected purely for skin tone proves how deep colorism cuts. It’s time we call it what it is: a harmful, inherited curse threatening our community.
