Lady Alleges Dismissive Treatment After N50,000 Outpatient Care at Egbeda Private Hospital

Lady Alleges Dismissive Treatment After N50,000 Outpatient Care at Egbeda Private Hospital

A woman has criticised a private hospital in Egbeda over her alleged experience after she was diagnosed with malaria and typhoid. She said she was offered admission for ₦100,000 or outpatient treatment for ₦50,000. She chose the outpatient option and was given medication for three days. According to her, she remained weak and felt faint after completing the drugs. When she returned, she alleged that the doctor reminded her that admission had been recommended, without clearly explaining how long she would need to stay if admitted. She called on private hospitals to communicate more clearly with patients and take follow-up complaints seriously.
