Saweetie Sued for $3M After Allegedly Skipping Japanese Concert Dates
American rapper Saweetie is facing legal action from Japanese promoter Moon Dream Production. Court documents show she agreed to four shows in Japan between July 18 and 26, 2025, for a $200,000 fee and took a $100,000 deposit. The promoter alleges she used their visa services but then performed elsewhere during the contracted dates. Moon Dream says it lost over $200,000 on venue and promotion costs and missed about $400,000 in expected profits. It is seeking the return of the deposit plus $3 million in punitive damages. Neither Saweetie nor her representatives have issued a public response.
