Asake Reveals May 1 Release Date for New Album ‘M$NEY’

Asake Reveals May 1 Release Date for New Album ‘M$NEY’

Afrobeats star Asake will release his fourth studio album, M$NEY, on May 1, 2026. He shared the news on his social channels alongside behind-the-scenes footage of Iraqi-Dutch artist Arthar Jabar sculpting a marble bust in his likeness. The project follows singles like “Why Love” and “Bad Gangsta” featuring Tiakola, plus his collaboration “WORSHIP” with DJ Snake. He also teamed up with Wizkid on a recent joint track. M$NEY succeeds his previous albums Lungu Boy, Work of Art, and Mr Money With The Vibe. A full tracklist and more details will be revealed soon.

What themes do you expect from Asake's M$NEY album after seeing Arthar Jabar sculpt that marble bust in his likeness?

Claro, that sculpted bust makes me think Asake will explore fame and perseverance in M$NEY.

I agree the sculpture oozes wealth vibes, yet I'm betting Asake sprinkles raw hustle stories alongside the flex.

It's curious how the marble bust footage has become the focus instead of sharing more about the actual music on M$NEY.

I'm not convinced that a sculpted bust translates into artistic depth; a good single might do more talking than marble ever could.
