ITF Launches Business Incubation Programme to Empower SUPA Artisans

ITF Launches Business Incubation Programme to Empower SUPA Artisans

The Industrial Training Fund has introduced a Business Incubation Programme under its Skill-Up Artisans initiative. It aims to transform skilled artisans into sustainable business owners and job creators across Nigeria. Graduates of the SUPA training scheme will receive entrepreneurship and business management training through the internationally recognised Start and Improve Your Business programme. They will also gain certification, licensing support, tools, equipment, and tailored start-up packages under defined participation and repayment arrangements. A structured mentorship framework and a five-year monitoring and evaluation system will track beneficiary performance, focusing on business growth, job creation, and sustainability. Officials say this strategic intervention will drive MSME growth, boost economic opportunities for youths, and strengthen Nigeria’s industrial development.
