Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya Elected 33rd NBA President, Pledges Inclusive Leadership

Today, I am deeply honoured to serve as the 33rd President of the Nigerian Bar Association. I thank every member who believed in our vision of a bolder bar that works for all lawyers. Throughout my campaign, I travelled across the country. I listened to your hopes and concerns. Those conversations shaped our plans for a more inclusive, responsive association. I congratulate all candidates for their contributions to this democratic process. Now our focus is unity and progress. I pledge to lead with integrity, courage, humility and accountability. Together, we will build an NBA where every lawyer can earn better, live better and practise better. The work begins now.

Yes oh! I'm excited about mentorship hubs, regional law clinics, and scholarship grants to help more lawyers feel at home everywhere.

It's interesting she travelled across the country, but inclusive leadership requires concrete actions rather than campaign tours alone.

A bolder bar sounds inspiring, but will she tackle regional disparities or end up sticking to the same old promises?

To build that bolder bar, starting town hall meetings in each region might keep members engaged and track real progress on her pledges.
