Igbokoda Air Crash: June Prophecy Resurfaces as Nigeria Mourns Victims
A June message by Prophet Kingsley Aitafo urging prayers for Nigeria’s security personnel has resurfaced after the Nigerian Air Force aircraft crash near Igbokoda, Ondo State. In the message, the cleric said he had seen a troubling vision involving a major disaster and possible loss of lives among uniformed personnel. He did not name a specific security agency or predict the Igbokoda crash. The ATR-42 aircraft was travelling from Benin City to Lagos on October 5 when it crashed near the Naval Base in Igbokoda. Initial reports said 25 passengers and seven crew members were aboard, although the Nigerian Air Force later gave a different figure of 25 people. There were no reported survivors. President Bola Tinubu declared three days of national mourning and ordered an investigation. The tragedy has also renewed concerns about military aircraft maintenance, operational safety and the protection of security personnel.
