Solomon Buchi and Ife Agoro Clash Over Compassion in Lindsay Clancy Case
Social commentator Solomon Buchi has criticised entrepreneur and influencer Ife Agoro over her comments on the case of Lindsay Clancy, a Massachusetts mother accused of killing her three children. Agoro had called for compassion and stronger mental-health support for mothers experiencing severe postpartum conditions. Buchi argued that acknowledging mental illness should not overshadow the loss suffered by the children. He also challenged her portrayal of Clancy’s husband, Patrick, saying he had taken steps to support his wife, including paternity leave, working from home and seeking additional help. Buchi maintained that postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis should not be treated as the same condition.
