Michelle Alozie was named Woman of the Match after Nigeria's 1-0 win over Zambia at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. The Super Falcons defender was selected for a routine post-match anti-doping test, which meant she had to remain at the stadium after her teammates left. Alozie later confirmed the test in a video. CAF praised her display as “composed, confident and complete” as Nigeria revived their title defence.
