Four Nigerians Arrested in Yokohama for Attempting to Export Stolen Cars
Four Nigerian men were taken into custody at Yokohama Port in July. Authorities say they tried to ship two vehicles abroad using forged customs documents. One of the suspects is a 55-year-old used-car dealership president. Police believe the cars had been stolen days earlier in Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Investigators are probing how the ring obtained false export clearance.
