His record label confirmed the “Bounce” hitmaker was sued by a former partner over alleged emotional distress and damages. The label explained this lawsuit kept Ruger away from the studio recently. Fans were told the break was necessary for him to focus on resolving the case. Ruger is expected to return to the music scene in August, according to the statement.
