Ibusa Unveils Proposed Obi Nwaokocha Okeze Mini Stadium

Ibusa, Delta State, has unveiled plans for the proposed Obi Nwaokocha Okeze Mini Stadium on Umueze Farm Road. The project is planned for a site of about 21 plots and is intended to support sports development, youth training and community events. The proposed facility is expected to include a main football pitch, a 500-seat pavilion, a training pitch, dressing rooms, office space, a gatehouse and an indoor sports complex. Pastor Idowu Okeze said the project is a Federal Government facility attracted to the community. Supporters say the stadium could help Ibusa discover and develop young athletes, while creating opportunities for local businesses during competitions and events. Its success will depend on delivery, maintenance and regular use by schools, clubs and sports bodies.
