LSSTF Partners with EPAIL Nigeria to Boost Local Security Hardware Production

LSSTF Partners with EPAIL Nigeria to Boost Local Security Hardware Production — 1 of 4
1 / 4

Psalm 150:6 (KJV): Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) met with Equipment and Protective Applications International Limited (EPAIL Nigeria) at its Lagos/Ibadan Expressway facility. Dr. Ayo Ogunsan and Mr. Adegbola Lewis discussed procuring locally made security equipment for agencies in Lagos State. The plan supports a Made-in-Nigeria policy to save foreign exchange and create jobs. EPAIL Nigeria began operations in 2014 and is the country’s first ballistic manufacturer. It produces bulletproof vests, helmets, and surveillance systems under international standards. The company’s research and development focus has improved security solutions in all states of the federation. Thank you, Jesus.

Boosting local security hardware production sounds great on paper, yet past collaborations often fell short on affordable, reliable equipment delivery.

I'm not convinced a single facility on the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway can meet national security demands without a robust distribution network.

EPAIL and LSSTF should train local technicians so dem fit handle maintenance and repairs, ensuring the hardware stays functional.
