Mendy was a key member of the Senegal side that won the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, the country’s first title in the competition. He established himself as one of Africa’s leading goalkeepers during his time with the Lions of Teranga. He will now focus on his club career after bringing his international journey to an end.
