Tinubu Orders Investigation After Nigerian Air Force Jet Crash in Ondo

President Bola Tinubu has expressed sadness over the crash of a Nigerian Air Force ATR-42 aircraft near a naval base in Igbokoda, Ondo State. The aircraft was on a routine mission from Benin to Lagos. It had 25 passengers and seven crew members on board. Tinubu condoled with the families of those involved and the Nigerian Air Force. He directed the Air Force to investigate the cause of the crash and commended the search-and-rescue teams, first responders and Ondo State Government for their response.
