Taraba LG Chairmen Attend Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution Training in Jaji

Jalingo Local Government Chairman Nura Dantsoho is participating in a five-day leadership and conflict-resolution training at the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Centre in Jaji. The programme, sponsored by the Taraba State Government, brings together 16 local government chairmen and officials from the state’s local government, chieftaincy and peace bureaux. Sessions cover conflict mapping, mediation and crisis management. Dantsoho said the training would help local leaders identify tensions early, engage residents and maintain peace as political activities increase. The workshop is scheduled to end on Friday, August 15, 2026.
