Marketsquare Cares: Free Medical Outreach Transforms Lives in Yenagoa
Sundry Markets Limited (SML), owner of Marketsquare, held a free medical outreach in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The event, part of its “Marketsquare Cares” programme, aimed to enhance healthcare access and improve outcomes for underserved communities. In partnership with Pro-Health International, SML provided free medical consultations, specialized surgeries, eye care, dental check-ups, blood pressure and sugar screenings, laboratory tests, and health education sessions. A total of 3,772 patients benefited from more than 9,800 medical interventions. Ebele Enunwa, Managing Director of SML, said the initiative reflects the company’s gratitude to the people of Yenagoa, where its first store opened in 2015. She noted that customer support empowers SML to give back and distribute wealth responsibly. SML has run similar outreaches in Port Harcourt, Benin City, and Aba.
