Benoit Badiashile Set for Napoli Medical Ahead of Chelsea Loan Move

Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile is reportedly set to undergo a medical with Napoli on Tuesday ahead of a proposed loan move. Italian reports say Napoli would pay €3 million, plus up to €1 million in add-ons, for the loan. The deal is also expected to include a €27 million option to buy. Napoli are seeking defensive cover after pre-season injuries to Alessandro Buongiorno, Sam Beukema and Luca Marianucci. Badiashile joined Chelsea from Monaco in 2023 and made 71 appearances for the club, but played only 16 times in the 2025-26 season.
